I had a terrible experience here, I had a faux loc take down , wash my natural hair & braid down to the back and lastly my closure wig washed & flat iron. The price was ok but after I set in the chair the woman in charge says we don’t take them down , I’ll charge $150 for a that at my house (well mam this ain’t your house & that’s why I’m here) they did it & the lady was mean mugging the whole time, you just should’ve turned me around . I said I had them taking down before & never heard this & I said I’ll call the owner she said Idc , I’ll tell her the owner myself! Two younger ladies end up doing it then tried to just cut my hair without asking how long it is in the process, I told them it’s shorter in front but long in the back & one was whispering b about me talking about it look short to the door lady answering phones & penciling ppl in (who not supposed to do hair ) until she washed & braided it & was like okkkkkkk, (WEIRD) like why make someone feel away if it was short . I WISH I would’ve got names.
2ND INCIDENT
I’m finally done with the take down & im braided and the younger lady was about to flat iron the wig then the door lady pulls her to their nasty kitchen & told her something then she come back and said you don’t have an install , I said correct but a flat iron & blow-dry and I know I told her this when I came in & the younger lady knew it to because why would she start to flat iron it. ? We never discussed my service, the door lady told her this prior then lied & said I didn’t . We had words back & fourth (door-lady) & i and I said I never had a problem here she said “ I NEVER seen you here & you haven’t been here in years & I said what? I was here in September she argues & said year(s) is plural with a s I said mam it hasn’t been years it’s been months then she said well I briefly looked at the paper. Lol. A joke.& a little off. Then said she will bump my wig but you didn’t say flat iron I said I did your being dishonest, she made a mistake & she was vaping so the vape probably had her head misconstrued. She said I’m doing it (fast , sloppy & grandma bump) but will stop because I kept saying I said this mam stop putting other words in my mouth that I didn’t say then I said then you can STOP & took my wig and said you have a terrible attitude & your lying (she lucky I changed or she would’ve got it . I put on my hat & left. I had no problem paying whatever but she said register was supposedly closed. Then I Expeditiously called the owner at other location.
LASTLY
Talked to Mrs.Payton (owner) she called them & they put their tails between their legs like cowards! She don’t play & it’s obviously they know that too. The door lady was still a little frisky & loud and was still tryna minimize the situation. However the owner apologized & says we don’t do faux loc take down & I understood that but I still didn’t deserve that treatment & if I’m feeling cheap again I’ll be back & ready for the ignorance because they are going to learn correct customer service , they ruined my whole day & I know this review LONG but I hope yow read it . Good prices but proceed with CAUTION!!!

Looked on line at the prices, got there and was told the price list was old. Waited about 5 minutes got my hair washed. The person doing my hair was doing her nails, so I had to wait on her .The young lady did my hair and I left. My experience was real bad but could've been better. That price list needs to be updated immediately.

Im all for our people, but i had the worst experience here today. I called the location before to book an appointment they said no need i can just walk in, when a arrived to the location they were having a thanksgiving party and barley doing hair. It was a child between the ages of 6-10 running around the whole salon. I waited an hour to get serviced for a silk press. When i was finally assigned to a stylist she was warm at first but that quickly changed when i told her how i wanted her to do my hair. When she started to blow my hair out i guess she got tired and decided to start flat ironing my hair WHILE ITS STILL WET. When i ask her was she about to blow dry because my hair is still wat she said “ naw im getting the back now” i was confused but i continue to let her work. She than grabs some hairspray and starts spraying my hair. Again MY HAIR IS STILL WET. I asked her again was she about to start flat ironing my hair she said yes. I said my hair and scalp is still wet. She immediately caught an attitude and yelled for an instructor to come talk to me. The instructor agreed that my hair and scalp is still very much wet so she took over for the blow drying part. When the stylist came back she had an attitude, i believe she took offense to me saying my hair wasn't dry but it wasnt. And i definitely wasn't about to let her over fry my hair because she wanted to be lazy and go home. From here we went downhill. She wanted to keep spaying hair spray all in my hair and than try to fry it with the iron. Wasnt finna happen! I asked her no to use any more hair spray. She called the teacher over. The teacher saw that i was trying to be understanding in the situation but the stylist was just so ghetto and sassy , i couldn't help getting a little frustrated. She burned my scalp 5 times with the straightener. And i honestly feel like she did it on purpose. When she was done my hair was fried and lay to the sides. Another instructor said my hair was cute i smiled. She said it was a compliment. I replied I know, but im not happy with it. All the girls were over ghetto and on the phone with kids and they baby daddies the whole time. You better off going somewhere else.
