I just left Milan Student Salon. I absolutely love my highlights. Michelle was outstanding, and I feel like a different person. I am in utter shock but in a positive way because I look amazing, and I look like a different person. Amazing! I am sending much love to her, my artist. May 13, 2024 - I've been getting a lot of compliments on my highlights... Thank you, Michelle. I'll see you in June for a manicure and for a haircut. I just returned home from a fabulous and relaxing pedicure done by Michelle. She was outstanding while my toes were being done. Excellent customer service, and our conversation we had was uplifting. Michelle has demonstrated her passion for cosmetology. She listened to what I was searching for, hairstyle/cut. She's very knowledgeable and gave good suggestions to the type of cut and shade of highlights for my natural hair color. Michelle has a strong vision of what would work for my hair. I will return in May for a haircut and highlights. I'm so excited, I could hardly wait to see the results. We hosted a group of Milan Institute Students at the Merced High Fashion Show on May 9. All of the students and instructor were very professional and provided amazing service to each of the models. They arrived on time, ready to work and provided quick and thorough service for hair and makeup. Great work by this team and we’re very appreciative of your help with our event!

The Cosmetology program provides students with the knowledge and skills of the practice of hair, skin, and nail services. In addition, the program provides students technical instruction and practical training in the areas of hairdressing, health and safety, esthetics, manicuring, and pedicuring.

Learn basic manipulative skills, safety judgments, proper work habits, and desirable attitudes necessary to pass the State Board examination and for competency in entry-level positions in Cosmetology or related career fields.

Aesthetician-Esthetician

The Aesthetician-Esthetician program provides students with the knowledge and skills of the practice of skin services. The program provides students with technical instruction and practical training in the areas of facials, health and safety, creative hair removal, and makeup.

Learn basic manipulative skills, safety judgments, proper work habits, and desirable attitudes necessary to pass the State Board examination and for competency in entry-level positions in esthetics or related career fields.

Barbering

The Barbering program provides students with the knowledge and skills of the practice of hair and shaving services. In addition, the program provides students technical instruction and practical training in the areas of hairdressing, health and safety, and shaving.

In the Manicurist-Nail Technology Course, students will learn to perform basic manipulative skills in the areas of manicures, pedicures, nail tips, wraps, and nail enhancements. In addition, perform the basic analytical skills to determine proper nail services and nail shaping for the clients' overall image and needs.

Learn the basic manipulative skills, safety judgments, proper work habits, and desirable attitudes necessary to pass the State Board examination and for competency in entry-level job positions as a Manicurist or related career avenue.
