Even though these ladies all have carefully crafted, appealing persona's, it seems that this year, there is one thing they can all get behind: side ponytails.

Everyone from Tyra to Grey's Anatomy's Ellen Pompeo has been spotted sporting these flashback-to-1984 hairdos. And, they aren't just reserved for the mall these days; they've been the look of choice for the red carpet lately.
