From the first time walking into Dorsey at Woodhaven, the atmosphere was very welcoming. The Director of Nursing Dr. Smith took time out of her day to listen to her students individually. The Practical Nurse Manager Ms. Thomas, made every class enjoyable. To learn from someone who’s intelligent like the instructors here was different because not only did they teach you the need to know but also the good to know. The front office staff… A GREAT GROUP of women. Mrs. Nicole B. In the financial aid office, a very understanding woman. Never passed judgment for your financial situation. She even offered different outlets to assist with payments. Ms. Lynn as well! She falls under the financial aid category as well. Ms. Brown, had a talk with me before I started 13 months ago, that conversation motivated me to just START. Ms. Borchardt, Career Services signed us up for the NCLEX, got us registered in a timely fashion. The advice given will last a lifetime. I know I’m missing a few people here but they ALL have made an impact in my life. I appreciate every single staff member of this campus. To the future nurses, JUST BEGIN. You never know the potential you have until you just BEGIN.
