I love attending jbs barber college. It is a well diverse hands on environment. I have definitely tuned in on my skills since i have been here!

This school is a total bust, I wish the school board would just come in and see that students literally pay 23,000 dollars in tuition to not be taught .I’m a recent graduate and I feel bad for the students there now . It’s no structure with management , nor the teachers even with the students. Completing my 1200 hours was the most useless thing I could’ve done in my life . The new Students there barely cut hair and if so the clients all go to certain barbers which isn’t fair if we all supposed to be learning. From my experience I can count on my hands how many times I was showed or even walk through on how to even start a haircut . The teachers in there don’t come up with a plan or even new activities for the week so we could learn different ways to cut or style hair , we do the same thing over and over and the teacher literally acts like she teaches when she’s lazy just like the students and play favorites literally. I BEG EVERY New STUDENT DON’T waste your time nor money going here . The environment is negative and the school system lacks professionalism.
