Profile
The Lancaster School of Cosmetology & Therapeutic Bodywork is an accredited school that was founded and incorporated in 1979. At this time it was located in downtown Lancaster in a single-story building. In 1984 the owners of the school purchased an old elementary school building that was built in 1900, and had been vacant for some 37 years. The two-story building has since undergone a major rehabilitation and modernization, and provides 10,000 square feet of space for classrooms and student laboratory. The school can accommodate more than 60 cars in its parking lot.
The Lancaster School of Cosmetology is located in Lancaster Township East, on the corner of Ranck Avenue and Clark Street.
In addition to being licensed by the State Board of Cosmetology, we are licensed by the State Board of Private Licensed Schools a division of the Pennsylvania Department of Education. We are accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences.
