In the School's Words

The Massage Therapy program is designed to qualify graduates for massage entry level employments in a Health Care setting, Spa environment or as an independent practitioner after passing the state required licensing exam. Students are taught manual techniques in the areas of Swedish massage, sports massage, stretching with range of motion, reflexology, spa services, myofascial release and neuromuscular therapy. Topics include Anatomy, Physiology, Massage Theory, Florida Law, HIV/AIDS education, Hydrotherapy, varied modalities. Students gain hands-on experience through clinical applications and a positive learning environment that involves small classes.

Financial Aid and VA benefits are available for those who qualify.

Since 2012, Merryfield Academy is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and approved by the U.S. Department of Education to provide Title IV Financial Aid to those students that qualify. We are licensed by the Commission for Independent Education (CIE), Florida Department of Education. The school has focused on programs that offer students the ability to pursue their passion in their educational and professional journey.
