went to mid cities barber college to get info about getting my barber's license. I talked to the school director one on one and he answered all my questions plus gave me some valuable information and advice on the steps needed to get me in school asap. They even offer Pell Grants that I qualified for, and the grant is going to pay for almost everything. Words can't explain how excited I am to start school and to start my journey to becoming a professional barber.

Mid Cities Barber College was first opened in 1988 by Mr. and Mrs. Cano, who have more than 94 years of experience in the hairstyling industry. Since then, the school has helped students gain the skills and knowledge they need to launch their hair-based careers.
As well as offering a 1,000-hour barber stylist program, a 750-hour barber instructor course, and a 500-hour instructor course, the school also offers cosmetologists looking to expand their skills a useful 300-hour cosmetology-to-barber crossover program. It's the ideal pathway for those who already have a good level of training and experience as a cosmetologist but want to expand their skills (and clients) to include barbering.
