I was very excited to get my facial done and the person that did my facial did an excellent job! She was thorough and very gentle and polite. She listened to the concerns I had about my skin and offered tips. The reason I’m giving one star is because of a worker there named Renee. I was there on time for my appointment and I did mention it to the person that was going to do the facial that I might be running a little late which she was okay with but I made it there before my appointment. I heard Renee mentioning it to (let’s call her x) that she should hurry up the facial so Renee can go home early, which x declined and said she would do all the steps to get a facial. During the service, Renee came into the room which made me uncomfortable as I am a hijabi who made sure with x that no one would come in so I can comfortably take my scarf off to get my facial and massage done. Renee came in to remind us how we are running out of time (wasn’t true..but anyways). She didn’t knock and I was very uncomfortable with how she addressed me and the glances she made towards me. There was no sign that said we couldn’t bring children. She saw me walk in with my child but claimed that x sneaked him in…?! She was also criticizing every little thing x was doing..there was no respect from her towards x and professionalism. As I was changing I could hear Renee accusing x of things that didn’t even happen. And as x was telling her this and that didn’t happen..she said it doesn’t matter and continued to make comments. It was loud enough for me to hear which was very rude and unprofessional. She needs a reality check that she needs to treat every customer and their employee/colleagues with respect.

The experience at the Student Clinic was a pleasure; my Massage Therapist and Aesthetician were both very professional and skilled as well. I will be back!
