As a graduate of when Orion was originally Healing Arts Institute, I can tell you that this is one of the best educational institutions I've ever attended. I was in their Massage Therapy program, and all the therapists, staff, and administrators make you feel like family during your school year. You will get not only the hands on training you need to be successful, but the necessary coursework, books, and study guides. They did an amazing job preparing me to take my state board exam and become a licensed therapist. The teachers here actually care about your success and future, like I said before, when you come here, you become a part of the Orion family.

I started Orion's massage therapy program in January 2020, before we knew what COVID-19 would bring us. This school adapted incredibly well to all of the changes, especially considering the fact that the subject is very hands-on. While many places have relaxed their COVID guidelines, this school has maintained a strict mask and cleaning policy, as well as taking the temperature of everyone before they walk past the front door, which is amazing. Other than their excellent COVID-19 response, the instructor's that I had were very skilled in teaching their subject, and passionate about it. I can tell that my teachers love what they teach, and they're patient with the different types of learners in my class to ensure everyone has a full understanding of the material. My teachers incorporate many different learning tools such as Kahoot, dissection videos in anatomy/physiology class, Powerpoints, Jeopardy games, crossword puzzles, and more. I would also like to add that the quality of information taught at this school is superior to that of other massage schools. They take a more therapeutic, anatomical approach to the body and how massage can affect it, which I really appreciate. To anyone considering going to school for massage therapy, I would highly recommend the Orion Institute, as the teachers here equip you with more than enough knowledge to be successful as a massage therapist, and I feel like I have many paths for growth once I graduate in two weeks, December 2020.
