I am a current graduate from Paul Mitchell NYC and it was the best experience of my life. Everyone I met there from learning leaders to fellow classmates were amazing and I am glad for the memories we all made together on our journeys. From the moment I walked in the doors on day 1, Marie was helpful, kind,knowledgeable and beautiful, Deanna was an amazing teacher as well, learned so much from her, she's truly gifted in the business and in teaching , cute as a button! Then there's Marcella who is kind, helpful, funny, beautiful inside and out, Theresa is also amazing, love her fun energy and you can pick her brain for lots of tips! She's the best and of course there's Diana the schools director, she exudes the PM culture to its fullest. She's dedicated to making sure we as students are prepared for the salon world. She is caring, inspiring, and just an all around beautiful woman who cares very passionately about our success after school. It was the highlight of my days for 8 months and I'll never forget where it all began for me and who was with me on that ride. If you're thinking of going to beauty school, I highly recommend Paul Mitchell The School NYC!!!

I had the pleasure of visiting Paul Mitchell The School NYC and was blown away by the exceptional atmosphere of teamwork and support displayed by both students and staff. The salon fosters a collaborative environment where everyone pitches in to lend a hand, offer recommendations, and share product knowledge. It’s truly inspiring to see such a positive and encouraging culture at work. A special shoutout goes to Genesis, who provided me with an incredible service. I received a color treatment, trim, and blowout with iron work, and I was amazed by her professionalism and attention to detail—qualities you would expect from a seasoned stylist. Her energy was infectious, and it’s clear that she is deeply passionate about everything related to hair. Genesis exuded confidence in her craft, which allowed me to completely relax and enjoy the experience. I was so thrilled with the results and the overall experience that I immediately booked two additional appointments with Genesis. I can’t wait to return and see what magic she works next time. Situated in the center of Staten Island and just a short ferry ride to Manhattan, at Paul Mitchell The School NYC, students—or, as they're known on campus, "Future Professionals"—are trained for careers as licensed cosmetologists after they complete the program.
Students on the 1,000-hour cosmetology program are led through three levels of education—Core, Adaptive, and Creative—taking on more advanced techniques and building real-world skills and confidence as they move through each stage. Specialist makeup classes are also available.
Students are encouraged to give back to their communities, and three-month-long FUNraising campaigns are run annually. Since 2004, over $21 million has been raised for charity by Paul Mitchell Schools around the country.
