Editor's Description

Paul Mitchell's beauty school in Murfreesboro offers a variety of comprehensive programs. A cosmetology student says, "Great example of the real world salon industry. Heavy focus on the Theory as well. Educated teachers who care about the students. Fun culture and 100% accepting environment for all types of individuals. My experience with the school taught me valuable lessons about the real world and inspired me to strive further in the industry."

The cosmetology program is 1,500 hours, and students receive an iPad with their student kit, textbook, and other supplies. Their 750-hour esthetics program focuses on skincare innovations and technologies, such as electrotherapy, extractions, waxing, brow design, and makeup application.

If you're already a licensed cosmetologist, consider taking the 300-hour instructor program. The teachers (the school calls them Learning Leaders) learn to guide students through their three education levels: Core, Adaptive, and Creative.

Paul Mitchell is a well-known beauty school, and they feature alumni reviews and videos on their site.
