Editor's Description

The prestigious Paul Mitchell The School offers programs in both cosmetology and instructor training at its Phoenix location. The 1,600-hour cosmetology program focuses on the fundamentals of cutting, color, texture, styling, skin, and nails and provides an introduction to the school culture. Students (or Future Professionals, as the school calls them) learn the theory, then practice hands-on in the safe environment of the classroom.

Each Future Professional receives their own kit packed with essentials, including hot styling tools, mannequin heads, combs, brushes, scissors, and clips. There are several financial aid options open to students, including Pell Grants, scholarships, and more.

"My first impression of walking into the doors of Paul Mitchell's school was this is where I need to be," says former student Dustin. "Everybody wanted to be there. Paul Mitchell's school definitely adapts to your particular learning style. For me, I'm more hands-on, not really good at the books. It doesn't feel like you're at school, you're just having fun."
