I attended Southeastern College and overall it’s a good school with a lot of opportunities to learn and grow in your program. The instructors are knowledgeable and the coursework can really prepare you for your career if you take it seriously. However, my experience with the professionalism of the administration and staff was disappointing at times. Communication could be inconsistent and certain situations were not handled in the most professional manner. That part definitely needs improvement. With better organization and more professional communication from the staff, this school could be an even better place for students. The education itself is valuable, but the administrative side could use some work.

My experience with SouthEastern College has been nothing short of positive. From the moment I started my registration process, I felt supported and encouraged to move forward in a better direction for my future. I especially want to recognize my Senior Admissions Coordinator Nikki Ramsey, who truly went above and beyond for me. She stepped in during the middle of my registration process with very little information to start with, but after sitting down with her and talking things through, she immediately understood exactly what needed to be done. She hit the ground running and made sure every piece of my paperwork went to the right people, ensuring that my Financial Aid process went smoothly. She also assisted diligently to help me use my VR&E benefits through the military, making sure everything was handled correctly and without unnecessary stress on my end. Her dedication, professionalism, and genuine care made a huge difference for me, and I’m incredibly thankful for all the help and guidance she provided. I am excited to start school here soon! For anyone who may not be completely sure what they want to do in life yet but knows they want to get on the right path, SouthEastern College is truly a wonderful stepping stone into a beautiful career. I’m grateful for this experience and highly recommend this school to future students.

I can’t say enough great things about Nikki Woods at Southeastern College! She has been an incredible advisor from day one. Nikki is always professional, supportive, and genuinely cares about her students’ success. She takes the time to explain everything clearly, answers questions quickly, and makes sure you feel confident about your academic plan. As a future radiologic technologist, having an advisor who stays organized and keeps you on track makes such a difference, and Nikki does exactly that. She goes above and beyond to make sure you have the resources and guidance you need. I truly appreciate her dedication and positive attitude. Highly recommend her to any student looking for guidance and support!

The cosmetology certificate program teaches students the fundamentals of cosmetology. It establishes a balanced foundation of practical hands-on experience specifically applicable to the cosmetology industry by applying practical knowledge and skills in the student salon environment. Students follow a curriculum that adheres to the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation—State Board of Cosmetology’s guidelines and regulations.
