Editor's Description
At the Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Nashville, you'll find a comprehensive cosmetology program. On Facebook, Tracey Harvell says, "Star Sanford's Cosmetology class is on point. Theory outweighs hands-on due to Covid19, but the innovation of online learning coupled with some in person learning is working during these unprecedented times."
The 1,500-hour cosmetology program started in 2019. It takes around 16 months of full-time study to complete, and classes occur both during the day and night. Students learn how to shampoo hair, dress wigs, apply makeup, remove hair, and provide nail and skin care services.
The college offers students financial aid opportunities to help pay for tuition, and 82% of graduates find employment in their field of study.
