They don’t know how to shave. I told them to shave with foam and they used machine to shave and after that using foam but the hair didn’t go and when I speak to owner then he abused me and tell me open my school. They are not professional so kindly don’t visit their shop.

This is my first bad review ever. Not a big reviewer and contemplated not writing this review(hate writing a poor review) but this needs to be known and I’m sure customers will find some value in it. I do not have an option for 0 star so I will leave it at one star. Here is what happened, the managing guy took us in seems like he is also the owner. I went to this place fully aware that new in training barber students will be cutting hair. I took my son along with myself for a hair cut. Knowing that these are students I wanted to make sure I’m there to help and guide the guy so I can get the right haircut for my son. Here is where my frustration started- The guy started cutting hair but his focus was all about the music he was playing. He kept changing music every few mins less than 3-4 mins. And it took him good 2 or more mins changing the music. Was patiently observing all that and guiding him to make sure he gets his cut right for my son. I told him very distinctly please keep my son’s hair to his eyebrow level 2-3 times. I was sitting there on the chair watching him shuffle music for like 40 mins and finally he cut portion of my son’s front hair too short. I pointed that out to him. He said that he is not done. I replied how he was going to get the hair back that’s already cut too short. On that first he gave an excuse that your son is moving a lot and that it’s done. I’m. Like the whole reason I’m sitting next to him is to assist you in case you need help with my son. That is not an acceptable excuse for his lac of focus and being so heavily involved with his phone and music. Right away he goes why don’t you take the scissors and cut his hair yourself. He just did not think I could do it. I replied is this the customer service you provide your customers by showing lack of professionalism and expect them to be ok with being guinea pigs for a small discount? I could take a coupon to a regular salon and still get the same price. On that he implied he has a short temper and that he couldn’t care less. All this the owner had been watching and said nothing. At the very end I lost it and said the two words. And while I was wrong , all that lead to it was putting fingers in my mouth to have me say ‘F u’. I hate using such words in general but it all of it had made me too mad. I still apologize for using those words but their actions were disgraceful. On hearing that, the owner goes, they pay me $20000/- to become barbers and that I need to leave immediately as I only paid for a haircut which was only $16+tax+tip, I can get similar pricing or in couple of place less for a haircut but I believe in early chances, helping people grow and I was like let me check this place out. As I had been to the strip mall restaurant way too many times that I decided to give this place a shot. If the guy making $20000 /student cared so much to have me leave in the middle of my young son’s haircut, he could give them basic etiquette of not using phone over a dozen times while giving a cut, not give stupid excuses when you make a mistake and rather own it. Show some basic respect to their customers and take their feedback and listen to their needs, this place would not have so many shitty reviews. Showing respect to your customers is the most basic customer service a place can do. I regret even trying this place, and ruining part of my day and peace. Again, I understand not every student may not be the kind I got for my son, but I think the problem is in the leadership and how they train them before even bringing them to customer’s. Take this review for what it’s worth as I’m venting out so if you feel like you need to go give it a try so be it and if this review makes them a better place I wish the kids investing $20000 get their money’s worth and learn a thing or two. P.S. I have been cutting my son’s hair since he was born until recently where I started taking him along for haircuts. So got him a nice cut after this incident. Although he was very unsettled by the incident and for that reason alone I want this feedback out.

This place sucks. Waited over an hour without anyone saying a word to me. Got skipped in line again with no explanation. Absolutely terrible customer service. Stay away from this place unless you have 8 hours for a haircut.
