Editor's Description
The 1,000-hour cosmetology program at The Salon Professional Academy in Georgetown uses products and techniques from the experts at Redken 5th Avenue NYC to train beauty professionals to an impeccable standard.
The program covers a wide variety of relevant topics, with hands-on training given in subjects such as styling, cutting, and coloring techniques alongside essential business and marketing skills and guest relations. The school also works with Redken to accept students via the $1,000 Redken Scholarship.
Salon owner Leah has this to say about the program: "The quality of education that a TSPA academy provides is beyond any beauty school I have ever experienced. What I value as a salon owner is when a TSPA student comes in for a position at our salon they are trained on the level system, understand the importance of retail, and most importantly, their skill level is exceptional."
