Required to earn a teacher training license

Before becoming a cosmetology instructor, you have to earn your Missouri cosmetologist, esthetician, or manicurist license. You can then submit your instructor trainee application with a fee of $25. You must go through 600 hours of training at a Missouri cosmetology school. If you have three years of cosmetology experience, you need 300 hours of training. Then, pay the $20 registration fee and pass your licensing exam.
