Why Do You Need a Cosmetology License to Be a Hairdresser in Iowa?
To become a hairdresser in Iowa, you must go to cosmetology school instead of hair school. Hairstyling is a major component of Iowa cosmetology programs, but you'll also learn to give makeup, skin, and nail treatments.
